Pushover - SNES

Pushover – SNES – Let’s Play and Review

Pushover is a platform puzzle game that was released by Ocean in 1992 for the SNES, Amiga, Atari ST, and PC. The game was a tie in with UK cheesy, curly, crisps Quavers, back in the 90s when snacks seemed to randomly have cartoon mascots?! Colin Curly (some Quaver eating bulldog I think) loses his pack of Quavers in a giant ant hill, and it’s down to a massive ant called G.I.Ant (lovely pun) for some reason to retrieve them. Why this involves pushing over yellow blocks is anyone’s guess, but who really needs a coherent plot anyway?

There are 100 levels, each getting more and more complex and difficult. I was struggling on levels under 10, so God knows what I’ve be like in the 90-100 levels! Maybe I’m just crap!

Equipment:

  • Analogue Super NT
  • 8BitDo SN30 Gamepad
